347 New Testaments Given Away During Olympics

A letter of thanks was received from The Gideons for a display they had at Trinity during the 2010 Olympics Share The Joy activities. It reads as follows:

"On behalf of the Richmond Camp of The Gideons International in Canada may I express my thanks and appreciation for including us in your open house during the Olympics. We distributed a total of 347 New Testaments in eight languages, including English. Such is the ethnic mix of Richmond. By language, the distribution was as follows:

English 150
French 2
German 6
Spanish 1
Japanese 3
Simplified Chinese Script 100
Traditional Chinese Script 74
Russian 8
Italian 3

Please join us in praying that our Lord will use His word to reach many needy people.
