2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 2023 Annual General Meeting of Trinity Lutheran Church - Richmond will take place:

Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Noon
at Trinity Lutheran Church
7100 Granville Avenue
Richmond, BC  V6Y 1N8   

 

Any Communicant Member of Trinity Lutheran Church may sign in at the Annual General Meeting to be on the new Voters List.  Signing onto the Voters List indicates your intention to attend all future congregational meetings until the next AGM.  (Note: A new Voters List is created each year at the in-person Annual General Meeting.)

2)  To Review Recommended Housing Allowances for Pastors

3)  To Review Various Options for the Parsonage 

Please review the relevant documents for each Agenda item, available via the links provided below.  To help minimize discussion within the meeting, it's requested that any questions or concerns be addressed before the date of the meeting, by contacting Ewald Wuschke or Allen Schellenberg.   This is to allow time to research accurate information.


 

AGENDA ITEM 1 — 2022 FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

MOTION: Trinity's Board of Directors moves to accept the 2022 Financial Statements as distributed, and further moves to accept the Financial Review Report for the English Ministry.

AGENDA ITEM 2 — REVIEW OF RECOMMENDED HOUSING ALLOWANCES FOR PASTORS 
 

(Briefly: Lutheran Church-Canada guidelines recomend that the housing allowance provided to each Pastor be equal to the cost to rent a typical 3-bedroom home near the church plus utilities.)
